The HUMA network welcomes 2 organizations

The HUMA network is growing ! SIP (Association for legal intervention) from Poland and KISA (Action for Equality, Support, Antiracim) from Cyprus have joined us to advocate for improvement of access to healthcare for undocumented migrants and asylum seekers in their countries and at the european level.

Kisa is a Cypriot NGO that stands for Movement for Equality, Support, Anti-Racism. Founded in 1998, it campaigns against discrimination in all forms on the island, including racism and sex trafficking, and operates Support Centres which provide free legal and social services, guidance and advice to migrants, refugees and asylum seekers in Cyprus.

SIP is a Polish association. SIP helps anyone who is discriminated against and in threat of marginalisation by providing them indispensable legal and social aid. They give legal assistance, aim at implementing amendments to the legal system and social policy, research, provide information and promote the idea of restorative justice. SIP mainly focuses on helping asylum seekers, refugees and other migrants but also adoptive families, children and young people placed in custodial care and adoptive families, mediators, and former prisoners.

Although they joined the network in July, we would like today to present them and thank them for their collaboration on the HUMA project!
